Welcome reception on Monday, August 26
The local organizing committee is pleased to welcome the workshop participants and accompanying persons with an opening reception with light refreshments and drinks on Monday evening after the end of the scientific program. The welcome reception will take place at the Rote Bete restaurant in the Convention Center.
Astronomy show at the Planetarium Bochum on Wednesday, August 28
On Wednesday, August 28th, all participants and accompanying persons are invited to attend the astronomy show Time Travel — From the Big Bang to Mankind at the Zeiss Planetarium Bochum. Drinks will be served beginning at 5:00 pm. The show starts at 5:30 pm and takes about 1 hour, followed by an informal conversation with the director of Bochum Planetarium Prof. Susanne Hüttemeister.

How to reach Planetarium from Ruhr University
Take the line U35 subway train from the stop "Ruhr-Universität" (direction "Bochum Riemke Markt") to Bochum central station ("Bochum HBF"). After 6 stopovers (10 minutes) you will reach the central station. On the central station you can change to another train (see below).
How to reach Planetarium from the Bochum central station (Bochum HBF):
The Planetarium is only one subway stop (2-3 minutes ride) from Bochum Central Station (Bochum HBF). You can either take the subway line 308 or 318 (direction of “Schürbankstraße” or “Nordbad”) or Subway line 316 (direction of “Heinrichstr.”) and get off at the station named "Planetarium".
When you get off the subway, please walk a few meters from the exit to Castroper Straße and turn right. You will then reach the entrance to the planetarium via a footpath.
There is ongoing construction site near the Planetarium. One may need to take a detour around the construction site.

Conference dinner at the restaurant Strätlingshof on Thursday, August 29
The conference dinner will take place at the restaurant Strätlingshof on Thursday, August 29. Drinks will be served from 7:30 pm. Starting from 8:00 pm, the participants and accompanying persons are welcome to enjoy a buffet conference dinner.
