Time for presentation and questions
The time for the presentation and questions is as follows:
— allotted time 50 min = 40 min presentation + 10 min questions
— allotted time 40 min = 35 min presentation + 5 min questions
— allotted time 30 min = 25 min presentation + 5 min questions
— allotted time 20 min = 15 min presentation + 5 min questions
Presentation upload
Since we will use conference venue computers to project slides, please provide your slides in PDF format by uploading the corresponding file to Indico by 2:00 pm the day before your presentation following the instructions provided below.
How to upload slides to CD24 Indico system
The following manual assumes that English language is selected for Indico interface. If other language is selected, then some menu items and buttons may be in the corresponding language. You can change the language setting of Indico system by using the menu in the top right corner.
Steps to upload files to Indico system:
1. Log in to your Indico account on the CD24 conference server. Press "Login" button in the top right corner of the Indico web site. If you see your name instead of "Login" button, then you have successfully logged in.
2. From the menu on the left select `My Conference > My Contributions` and click on the title of your contribution.
You should be able to see your contribution page with abstract, list of authors and presentation materials.
3. Scroll down to the `Presentation materials` section and press the pencil icon (`edit materials` button).
You should now see the `Manage material` window
4. In the `Manage material` window press `Upload files` and choose a file from your computer.
5. If you don't want your slides to be publicly available activate the `Protected` switch. Note that the file name of "protected" files is visible to everyone, but only CD24 organizers can access the file contents.
6. Press the `Upload` button.
You can delete, replace, or change "protected" status of any files you previously uploaded.
If you update your PDF file after the upload deadline, please notify the organizers about it, otherwise an old version of your slides may be displayed during your presentation.
